About DeckRite

DeckRite L.L.C. is a manufacturer of vinyl films and membranes, not an installation contractor. We are headquartered in North Little Rock, Arkansas. We serve the construction, marine, and RV industries. We refer customers to stocking distributors and installing contractors in their area.

DeckRite L.L.C. has been supplying decking membrane to the North American construction industry since the 1970's. Originating in Western Canada, the deck membrane industry has flourished in Canada and in various parts of the United States. Today, over 20 million square feet of product has protected decks, patios, balconies, and exterior walkways around North America.

No. DeckRite is engineered to be slip resistant and has been tested to meet ADA requirements as a slip-resistant surface. It performs well wet or dry, but caution should be taken when snow, ice, or frost is present.

DeckRite is installed across the United States and Canada by professional contractors instructed in the proper techniques. Capable homeowners have successfully installed the product using the published instructions, videos, and rental welding equipment.

Yes. Some of the most popular installations are over living areas, multi-level decks, or raised decks that need dry storage underneath. Because the covering is waterproof, you get both a finished walking surface and protection from the elements.

The membrane uses a reinforced three-ply vinyl construction: an embossed wear layer, a high-strength polyester reinforcement grid, and a solid vinyl bonding layer. The rugged exterior resists normal wear from pets, deck furniture, and foot traffic, with a proven track record since the 1970's in harsh North American climates.

DeckRite is manufactured in rolls 68 inches (1.72 m) wide and 90 feet (27.45 m) long. Thickness is 50 mils (500 Series) or 60 mils (600 Series). Thickness at the hot-air weld is approximately 0.090" and 0.110" respectively.
